The Odenwald - these are the romantic woody mountains between the Rhine, Main and Neckar. Because of the unbelievably beautiful countryside and the many legends connected with castles and fortresses, it is simply “legendary“ and was awarded the title "Unesco Geopark" in 2004.
There is a lot to see in the locations along the route: historic town centers and ancient walls take you back into the past.
