The community Biebertal with ist six districts is situated in the enchanting scenery of beech trees and meadows. Built on steep volcanic cones the castles Vetzberg and the neighbouring castle Gleiberg testify their well-fortified past. From there as well as from the surmounting mountain Dünsberg (498 metres in height) one has a marvellous panoramic view to the near university town Gießen and the former imperial town Wetzlar.
